Daisy Girl Scouts start at age 5, usually when they're in kindergarten, and go to about age 6, or until first grade ends. They learn the basics of Girl Scouting and do many arts and crafts, go on field trips, ands start to get more involved in their communities. Daisy Girl Scouts also earn Learning Petals and receive participation patches. Daisy Girl Scouts can now SELL GIRL SCOUT COOKIES!!!!!!

Brownie Girl Scouts are the next age level and girls can join as early as age 6, and can be a Brownie for two years, until age 8. Second & Third grade. Brownies get more into the heart of Girl Scouting and begin to work on service projects to earn badges known as Try-Its. Try-Its are just that, the girls get a taste of different areas of interest and then when they become a Junior Girl Scout or Senior Girl Scout they will have the chance to get more into the topics that they were interested in.
Brownies also are invited to go camping at one of our nine camps and even attend one of our Summer Program Camps.

And last but certainly not least, Brownie Girl Scouts can SELL GIRL SCOUT COOKIES!!!!!! The annual cookie sale that takes place in the fall is one of two fundraisers we ask girls to
participate in. Here girls learn life-long skills of budgeting,
marketing, sale and accepting rejection politely. We also have a second product sale in February of Candy, Nuts & Candles.
Proceeds of both these sales are split between the troop, to help defer the cost of events & projects, and the Council to keep up the properties & programs offered to Girls.

Next is Junior Girl Scouts which is for ages 10 and 11 and is a similar program to Brownie Girl Scouts except during Juniors, the girls get to do more. More camping, more field trips and even trips down to Hershey Park, PA for their annual Girl Scout Weekend. Juniors also get to focus on fields they are truly
interested in and in doing so can earn badges and get an
in-depth look associated with that field . Once again Junior Girl Scouts are asked to participate in the Cookie Sale and the
second product sale in February of Candy, Nuts & Candles. Girls are encouraged towards service and to earn their Bronze Award, the third highest award in Girl Scouts.
